In response to this, the Pale King sealed her into the Hollow Knight, but ultimately it was not enough and the kingdom of Hallownest was razed by the plague. After she was almost entirely forgotten, she started exerting her power through the dreams of bugs, leading, somewhat by accident, to the Infection. It is unclear if the Radiance has a physical form or only exists in the Dream Realm. She is described as being a light brighter than Essence, which is the substance that dreams are made of. The Radiance is a higher being who created the Moth Tribe and ruled over parts of Hallownest before the Pale King arrived. Whether purposely or not, the White Lady seems to be evading attunement by the Godseeker due to her diminishing her power. The White Lady bound herself in the Queen's Gardens to stop herself from having more offspring. It is unknown if she has any other powers, but she does have the ability to create flowers. She has an insatiable desire to spread her seeds and to propagate herself, which resulted in the process of Vessels being born. The White Lady is a Root who was the Queen of Hallownest. The Godseeker notes that he was completely erased but that his power still lingers.
The Pale King’s corpse can be found in the White Palace. The Pale King was the monarch of Hallownest but disappeared sometime after the Infection returned. Like all Wyrms, he also has the ability of foresight. He is able to expand the minds of bugs, giving them sapience. The system is still being developed, but is ready to play with three successful public playtests under our belt, and a fourth one open to you coming this Saturday! We started scouting for new players while the system was still under development for help with playtesting before we went fully public. We found a sizable initial audience full of enthusiastic people, and Zion and Para decided it would be best to start their own Discord, where they took me on board for help with moderation. Playtesting started in a couple of channels tucked away in a Discord that I run, the one dedicated to aforementioned other TTRPG. With Zion’s love of narrative role playing games and Para’s skills at art, a prototype version of Era of Radiance, the Hollow Knight TTRPG based on Blades in the Dark, was created.
On another community dedicated to tabletop RPGs, two of my friends, /u/paravili (or Para, as we call her) and /u/ Jumbuck (or Zion, as we call him) threw around the idea of a Hollow Knight tabletop RPG. I’m /u/12yz12ab, a community manager and guy on the internet.
